How billing works, how to cancel, and how refunds are handled for every Steady Edge Trading subscription and digital product.
This policy is part of the Steady Edge Trading Terms of Service. It explains how billing works, how renewals and reminders work, how to cancel, and how refunds are handled. In this policy, Steady Edge Trading means Steady Edge Trading LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company.
Cancel any time, online, in a few clicks, up to and including the renewal date. Keep access through the end of the period already paid for. Thirty days before every quarterly or annual renewal, you get an email reminder with the date, the amount and a link to cancel. Steady Edge Trading does not issue refunds. The narrow exceptions are listed in section 6.
That policy is stated on the checkout page for every Steady Edge Trading subscription so that nobody is surprised by it after the fact.
2.1 What is a subscription. The Forge, SET Member, Live Edge, Group Mentorship, and 1:1 Mentorship are recurring subscriptions billed through Whop, the third-party billing and access platform used by Steady Edge Trading.
2.2 Billing terms. Subscriptions bill in advance for the term selected at checkout, on the renewal date shown in your Whop account, until cancelled. Most subscriptions bill monthly. The Forge is also offered on a quarterly term that bills once every three months and on an annual term that bills once every twelve months. The checkout page shows the price, the term, and the fact that the subscription renews automatically at that price and interval until you cancel. By subscribing you authorize that recurring charge at the interval shown at checkout.
2.3 The annual term. An annual subscription to The Forge is paid for twelve months in advance. It includes the same access as the monthly and quarterly terms for the whole year. Its price is fixed for the year paid for, and a price change can apply only from a later renewal, under section 8. It renews for another twelve months unless you cancel by the renewal date.
2.4 Switching terms. A new term starts on the day it is bought. Days left on a current monthly or quarterly subscription are not credited toward an annual one. To avoid paying for the same days twice, cancel the current subscription, let it run to the end of the period already paid for, and buy the new term on or after that date.
2.5 Free trial. Forge subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. A payment method is recorded at checkout and nothing is charged during the trial. The first payment is taken when the trial ends unless the subscription is cancelled first. Live Edge and other subscriptions do not include a free trial.
2.6 Access. Access is granted automatically when payment succeeds and is matched to the email address used at checkout. If you sign up for a Forge account with a different email address than the one used at checkout, access will not attach until the addresses match. Write to info@steadyedgetrading.com and it will be corrected.
3.1 Before a quarterly or annual renewal. Thirty days before each quarterly or annual renewal date, Steady Edge Trading emails a reminder to the address on the account. The reminder states that the subscription will renew unless you cancel, the name of the subscription, the renewal date, the amount and the length of the next term, a link to cancel, and where to read these terms.
3.2 The last day to cancel. The renewal date is the last day to cancel. A cancellation made on the renewal date stops that renewal, and if the charge has already gone through that day, it is refunded.
3.3 Once a year, on every subscription. At least once a year, every subscriber on any term, monthly included, receives a reminder of what the subscription is, what it costs, how often it bills, and how to cancel.
3.4 Keep your email current. Reminders go to the email address on the account, so keep it up to date in your Whop account. If Steady Edge Trading fails to send a reminder that section 3.1 promises, section 6 covers the charge that follows.
4.1 How to cancel. Cancel online at any time from your Whop account: open your orders and choose Cancel membership. Every renewal reminder also carries a link to cancel. If you would rather not use Whop, write to info@steadyedgetrading.com from the email address on the account and ask to cancel. An email cancellation takes effect when the email is received, and any renewal charged after that is refunded. Cancelling takes effect immediately as an instruction not to renew. There is no call to make and no retention offer to get through.
4.2 What happens next. You keep full access through the end of the period you have already paid for. At the end of that period, billing stops and access ends. Discord roles tied to the subscription are removed automatically.
4.3 No partial periods. Steady Edge Trading does not prorate, and this applies to every billing term. Cancelling part way through a period does not produce a refund for the unused days, weeks, or months, and it does not shorten the period you have already paid for. On a quarterly subscription, cancelling in the second or third month ends the renewal but does not refund any part of that quarter. On an annual subscription, cancelling in any month of the year ends the renewal but does not refund any part of that year. Access continues to the end of the term paid for, and no further charge is made.
4.4 Your data. Your training record is retained after cancellation as described in the Privacy Policy, so that resubscribing restores your progress. You may request deletion at any time.
Steady Edge Trading does not issue refunds on subscription payments or on digital document purchases.
The reason is stated openly. Every Steady Edge Trading product is delivered in full and immediately. A subscriber gets the entire library of lessons, drills, simulator repetitions, and community access the moment payment clears, and a document buyer receives the file itself. There is no way to return what has been consumed. The protection offered instead is that nobody is locked in: cancel any time, from your own account, without a retention gauntlet, and with a reminder before every quarterly and annual renewal.
Digital documents. Documents and bundles sold through Gumroad are delivered as downloadable files and are final sale. Download links remain available in your Gumroad library.
Steady Edge Trading will review, and generally will resolve in your favor, the following situations:
Write to info@steadyedgetrading.com with the email address on the account and the date of the charge. Requests are reviewed individually. Granting an exception in one case does not waive this policy and does not create a right to any other refund.
If a renewal payment fails, the billing platform will retry. During that window access may be suspended and Discord roles may drop to guest level. Access restores automatically once payment succeeds. If payment continues to fail, the subscription is cancelled.
Prices may change. A price change never alters a term already paid for. An existing subscriber is told of a price change by email thirty days before the first renewal charged at the new price. The email states the new price, the date it first applies, and how to cancel. If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel by that renewal date and you are not charged the new amount.
If you dispute a charge with your bank rather than contacting Steady Edge Trading, access is revoked immediately and the account may be permanently closed. Steady Edge Trading would rather resolve the issue directly. Write to info@steadyedgetrading.com first.
Group Mentorship and 1:1 Mentorship are capped, application-based products. A scheduled session that you miss is treated as delivered.
Some states give subscribers rights beyond the ones in this policy, such as a particular notice before a renewal, a particular way to cancel, or a refund when a price rises. Where the law that applies to you gives you a right this policy does not, Steady Edge Trading honors that right, and nothing in this policy takes it away.
Billing questions go to info@steadyedgetrading.com. Include the email address on the account and the date of the charge.
