Terms of Service

The agreement that governs every Steady Edge Trading product, including The Forge training platform.

Effective date: July 28, 2026 · Last updated: July 28, 2026

Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Steady Edge Trading LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company ("Steady Edge Trading"). The Terms govern your access to and use of steadyedgetrading.com, The Forge training platform, the Steady Edge Trading Discord server, the Sunday Macro Brief and Thursday Mid-Week Read, all documents and courses sold by Steady Edge Trading, and every other product, service, and communication offered by Steady Edge Trading (together, the "Services").

By creating an account, purchasing a product or subscription, joining the Discord server, subscribing to an email list, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

These Terms incorporate by reference the Steady Edge Trading Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, and Refund and Billing Policy, each available at steadyedgetrading.com. If a conflict exists between these Terms and any of those documents, these Terms control except where the other document expressly states otherwise.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Services. The Services are not directed to children and Steady Edge Trading does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

You are responsible for complying with the laws of your own jurisdiction. Steady Edge Trading operates from the United States and makes no representation that the Services are appropriate or available in any other location.

What the Services Are

Steady Edge Trading publishes trading education. The core of that education is TREPP, a rules-based discretionary trading method, and The Forge, a structured training platform built around it.

The following statements define the nature of the Services and you accept each of them as a condition of use:

3.1 The Forge is a training environment, not a trading platform. The Forge presents constructed market scenarios built from synthetic and historical price data. Nothing inside The Forge is a live market feed. No order placed inside The Forge reaches any exchange, broker, clearing firm, or counterparty. No money moves. No position is ever opened. Any account balance, position size, dollar figure, profit, or loss shown inside The Forge is a display value inside a training exercise and represents nothing real.

3.2 Simulated results are not real results. Simulated and hypothetical performance carries inherent limitations. A simulated record is prepared with the benefit of hindsight, involves no financial risk, and cannot account for slippage, liquidity, order rejection, platform failure, or the psychological pressure of live capital. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve results similar to anything shown inside The Forge.

3.3 Education, not advice. Everything published by Steady Edge Trading is general educational and informational content. Steady Edge Trading is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading advisor, commodity pool operator, futures commission merchant, or introducing broker, and is not registered with or a member of the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the National Futures Association, or the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Nothing in the Services is personalized investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, futures contract, or other instrument, an offer or solicitation, or a statement that any transaction is suitable for you.

3.4 No signals. Steady Edge Trading does not sell signals, alerts, or trade calls. Commentary delivered in the Live Edge room, the Discord server, the Sunday Macro Brief, the Thursday Mid-Week Read, mentorship sessions, or anywhere else is an illustration of a method being applied, not an instruction to act. Every trading decision you make is yours alone and is made at your own risk.

3.5 No performance promise. Steady Edge Trading does not guarantee any outcome. No guarantee is made that you will become profitable, pass a proprietary trading firm evaluation, obtain or keep a funded account, recover any loss, or achieve any particular result. Most people who attempt futures trading lose money. Any result shared by Steady Edge Trading or by any member is an individual result that is not typical and is not a projection of your result.

3.6 No certification. Completing a stage, earning a badge, finishing a track, or graduating from The Forge is an internal record of training completed inside a private product. It is not a license, a professional certification, an accreditation, an endorsement by any regulatory body, or a representation that you are qualified to trade capital.

3.7 Risk of loss. Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every person. Futures are leveraged instruments and it is possible to lose your entire deposit and, in some circumstances, more than your entire deposit. Only risk capital you can afford to lose entirely. The full risk disclosure at steadyedgetrading.com/disclaimer applies to every part of the Services.

Accounts

4.1 Registration. Some Services require an account. You agree to provide accurate information at signup and to keep it current. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

4.2 One person per account. An account is personal to you. You may not share your login credentials, allow another person to use your account, or transfer, sell, or assign your account or your access. Access is licensed to one individual.

4.3 Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Notify Steady Edge Trading promptly at info@steadyedgetrading.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization.

4.4 Public display name. The Forge includes a member leaderboard. Your chosen display name, your experience points, your level, and your rank are visible to other members. Your legal name, email address, city, and state are not displayed to other members. If you do not set a display name, an anonymous handle is shown instead. Display names are subject to automated moderation and Steady Edge Trading may reset or remove a display name that is offensive, impersonates another person or entity, or is used to advertise.

4.5 Discord. Access to the Steady Edge Trading Discord server is governed by these Terms, by the server rules posted in the server, and by the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Roles are granted and revoked automatically based on your subscription status.

Subscriptions, Purchases, and Billing

5.1 Subscriptions. Subscription products, including The Forge, SET Member, Live Edge, Group Mentorship, and 1:1 Mentorship, are billed on a recurring basis through Whop, the third-party payment and access platform used by Steady Edge Trading. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

5.2 Documents and courses. Individual documents and bundles are sold through Gumroad as one-time digital purchases and are delivered electronically.

5.3 Cancellation and refunds. You may cancel a subscription at any time and retain access through the end of the paid period. Steady Edge Trading does not issue refunds. Full terms, including the narrow exception categories, are in the Steady Edge Trading Refund and Billing Policy, which is part of these Terms.

5.4 Price changes. Prices may change. A price change to an existing subscription takes effect at the next renewal after notice is given to the email address on your account. Continuing the subscription after the effective date is acceptance of the new price.

5.5 Failed payment. If a payment fails, access may be suspended or downgraded until payment succeeds. Steady Edge Trading is not responsible for access lost because of a declined card, an expired card, or a payment dispute you initiate.

5.6 Taxes. Prices are stated exclusive of any applicable sales, use, or value added tax. Where Steady Edge Trading or its payment platforms are required to collect tax, that amount is added at checkout.

Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership. All content in the Services is owned by Steady Edge Trading LLC or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and trade secret law. This includes the TREPP method as expressed in Steady Edge Trading materials, all lesson text, drills, scenarios, scenario configurations, the scoring rules and grading logic, the software that runs The Forge, all charts and visual assets, badge art, audio narration, documents, spreadsheets, templates, the Sunday Macro Brief, the Thursday Mid-Week Read, the Steady Edge Trading name, logo, wordmark, the tagline "We develop the trader.", and the trade dress of every Steady Edge Trading property. Portions of this material are registered with the United States Copyright Office, effective July 28, 2026.

6.2 Your license. Subject to these Terms and to your subscription remaining in good standing, Steady Edge Trading grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your own individual education. That is the entire scope of what you receive. No other right is granted, expressly or by implication.

6.3 What you may not do. You may not, and may not permit any other person to:

  • copy, reproduce, republish, post, transmit, sell, rent, lease, lend, or otherwise distribute any part of the Services;
  • record, screen capture, photograph, transcribe, or livestream lesson content, drills, scenarios, Live Edge sessions, mentorship sessions, or any other member-only material, except for your own private study notes;
  • share your account, your credentials, or any downloaded document with any other person;
  • teach, coach, sell, license, or otherwise commercially exploit the TREPP method or any Steady Edge Trading material as your own or as part of your own product, course, room, service, or community;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, scenario data, scoring logic, or configuration of The Forge, except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
  • use any robot, spider, scraper, headless browser, or automated means to access, monitor, or copy any part of the Services;
  • use any part of the Services to develop, train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine learning or artificial intelligence model or dataset;
  • remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice; or
  • use the Steady Edge Trading name, logo, or brand assets in any way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation that does not exist.

6.4 Enforcement. Steady Edge Trading may terminate access immediately and without refund for any violation of this section and may pursue every remedy available at law and in equity, including injunctive relief. You acknowledge that unauthorized copying or redistribution of the Services would cause harm that money damages alone cannot adequately remedy.

6.5 Trademarks. "Steady Edge Trading," "TREPP," "The Forge," and the associated logos and marks are trademarks of Steady Edge Trading LLC, whether or not registered. Trademark applications are pending or planned; the absence of a federal registration does not waive any right in these marks.

Your Content

7.1 What you create. The Forge asks you to write. Your responses in artifacts such as The Why, the sizing worksheet, the trade plan, and the readiness document, along with your rep journals, emotional tags, and any message you post in the Discord server or send to Steady Edge Trading (together, "Your Content"), belong to you.

7.2 License to operate the Services. You grant Steady Edge Trading a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to store, process, display back to you, and otherwise use Your Content solely to operate, support, and improve the Services.

7.3 Aggregate and anonymized use. Steady Edge Trading may use aggregated and de-identified data derived from member activity, such as completion rates, adherence statistics, and drill performance across the member base, to improve the Services and to describe the platform generally. Such use never identifies you.

7.4 Testimonials. Steady Edge Trading will not publish your name, likeness, display name, or written feedback as a testimonial or in marketing without your separate express written permission, given at the time of the specific use.

7.5 Your responsibility. You represent that Your Content is yours to share, is not unlawful, and does not infringe the rights of any other person. Steady Edge Trading may remove any content that violates these Terms.

Acceptable Use and Community Conduct

You agree not to:

  • harass, threaten, demean, or discriminate against any member or any other person;
  • solicit members, advertise, recruit, or promote any product, service, room, signal group, or firm without written permission from Steady Edge Trading;
  • request, offer, or post trade signals, entry calls, or copy-trade instructions;
  • make or repeat guaranteed-return, guaranteed-income, or pump claims of any kind;
  • post another person's private information;
  • impersonate Steady Edge Trading, JT Smith, a moderator, or any member;
  • upload malware or attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to any Steady Edge Trading system; or
  • use the Services for any unlawful purpose, including market manipulation or any activity that violates commodities, securities, or consumer protection law.

Steady Edge Trading may remove content, mute, suspend, or permanently remove any member for conduct that violates this section, with or without notice.

Third-Party Services and Affiliate Relationships

The Services depend on and link to third-party platforms, including Whop, Gumroad, Supabase, Netlify, Discord, Kit, TradingView, and TX3 Funding. Steady Edge Trading does not control those platforms and is not responsible for their availability, their conduct, their pricing, their terms, or any loss you suffer through them. Your relationship with each third party is governed by that party's own agreement with you.

Steady Edge Trading participates in affiliate and referral programs and may earn a commission when you sign up through a link in the Services, at no additional cost to you. A recommendation is never made because of a commission rate. The current disclosure is published at steadyedgetrading.com/disclaimer.

Proprietary trading firm evaluations, including any offered by a Steady Edge Trading affiliate partner, are paid products sold by that firm on that firm's terms. Purchasing an evaluation is not a job offer, an employment relationship, or a guarantee of funding, and Steady Edge Trading has no control over the firm's rules, payouts, or account decisions.

Availability

The Services are provided on an as-available basis. Steady Edge Trading may modify, suspend, add to, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, including individual lessons, stages, scenarios, features, channels, or products. Scheduled and unscheduled downtime will occur. No uptime commitment is made and no credit is issued for downtime.

Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. STEADY EDGE TRADING DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT, AND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT USE OF THE SERVICES WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STEADY EDGE TRADING AND ITS OWNER, MEMBERS, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY TRADING LOSS, LOST PROFIT, LOST OPPORTUNITY, LOST DATA, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO STEADY EDGE TRADING IN THE TWELVE MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT EVERY TRADING DECISION YOU MAKE IN A LIVE, SIMULATED, DEMO, EVALUATION, OR FUNDED ACCOUNT IS YOUR OWN, AND THAT STEADY EDGE TRADING BEARS NO LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS YOU INCUR.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limitations above apply to the fullest extent the law allows.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Steady Edge Trading and its owner, members, contractors, and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, liability, and expense, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of the rights of any other person.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time and may cancel any subscription as described in the Refund and Billing Policy.

Steady Edge Trading may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, for conduct harmful to other members or to Steady Edge Trading, for non-payment, or where required by law. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund of any amount already paid.

Sections 3, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16 survive termination.

Disputes, Governing Law, and Arbitration

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.

15.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

15.2 Informal resolution first. Before starting an arbitration or any other proceeding, you agree to contact Steady Edge Trading at info@steadyedgetrading.com with a written description of the dispute and the relief sought, and to allow sixty days to resolve it informally. Most disagreements end here.

15.3 Binding individual arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved informally, you and Steady Edge Trading agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, and not in court, except as provided in section 15.5.

The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, which are available at adr.org. The arbitration will be seated in Tennessee, and may be conducted by telephone, video, or written submission where the rules permit. The arbitrator has authority to award the same individual relief a court could award, and the arbitrator's decision is final and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

15.4 Class action waiver. YOU AND STEADY EDGE TRADING AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate the claims of more than one person and may not preside over any form of representative proceeding. If this class action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim, and only that claim, is severed from the arbitration and may proceed in court.

15.5 Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Either party may also seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to stop the unauthorized use, copying, or disclosure of intellectual property or confidential information, without first proceeding through informal resolution or arbitration.

15.6 Your right to opt out. You may reject this arbitration agreement and the class action waiver by sending written notice to info@steadyedgetrading.com within thirty days of the date you first accept these Terms. The notice must include your name and the email address on your account and must state clearly that you are opting out of arbitration. Opting out affects nothing else in these Terms, and Steady Edge Trading will not close your account or treat you differently for doing so. If you opt out, any dispute is resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

15.7 Time limit on claims. Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services must be brought within one year after the claim arises, or it is permanently barred, unless applicable law prohibits a shortened period.

15.8 Survival. This section survives termination of these Terms and closure of your account.

General

16.1 Changes to these Terms. Steady Edge Trading may update these Terms. The current version is always posted at steadyedgetrading.com/terms with the effective date at the top. Material changes will be communicated by email to the address on your account or by notice inside the Services. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.

16.2 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the documents incorporated by reference, are the entire agreement between you and Steady Edge Trading regarding the Services and supersede every prior understanding.

16.3 Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, that provision is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest of the Terms remain in force.

16.4 No waiver. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

16.5 Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. Steady Edge Trading may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

16.6 Force majeure. Steady Edge Trading is not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including exchange outages, platform failures, internet disruption, and acts of government.

16.7 Contact. Questions about these Terms go to info@steadyedgetrading.com.

Record of Acceptance

Acceptance of these Terms is recorded at account creation. The onboarding screen presents a checkbox, unchecked by default, reading "I have read and agree to the Steady Edge Trading Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer," with each document linked and opening in a new tab. Signup cannot proceed without it. Steady Edge Trading records the date, time, and version identifier of the Terms you accepted. When the Terms are materially revised, members are asked to accept the new version at next login, and every prior version remains archived and available on request.
