Does The Forge teach a trading system?

Yes. TREPP is the system taught today, and it is taught in full.

• A top-down, trend-following framework: Trend, RSI, EMA, Pullback, Probability.
• Read the higher timeframe first, trade with the trend, use momentum to judge whether that trend is worth trusting, and enter on the pullback instead of chasing the move.
• Nothing about the indicators is secret. The system is the product: the exact sequence they run in, the risk rules around them, where the stop trails, and the conditions for standing aside.
• Simple enough to execute on day one, and explained thoroughly enough to adapt to your own style rather than copy it blindly.

Is Foundations really free? What is the catch?

No catch. No card, no trial clock.

What do I get for $79 a month?

The complete system, the simulator that grades you on it, and the room where it gets applied.

• The complete TREPP system, taught in sequence. Six stages, each gated on demonstrated execution rather than time served.
• More than twenty scored practice sessions. Chop that punishes a crossover. Fakeouts that look exactly like the real thing. Trades that go your way for the wrong reason and score lower for it. None of them hand you a textbook setup.
• Graded on your decision, never on the money. Correctly standing aside on a bad session scores 100 percent. No paper-trading tool measures that.

Why not just paper trade for free?

Paper trading tracks profit and loss. The Forge tracks execution.

• Both matter. This does not replace screen time.
• Bar replay tells you what happened. It cannot tell you whether your decision was correct.
• It keeps no record of the rule you break most, or what you were feeling when you broke it.
• It cannot score the skill that matters most, which is choosing not to trade. Correctly sitting out a choppy session here scores 100 percent.
• Musicians and athletes practise deliberately, with someone scoring the reps. Paper trading is playing the piece alone with nobody listening.

Do I need trading experience to start?

No. Foundations starts from zero and does not skip steps.

How is The Forge different from a free trading course?

Free courses teach you what a good trade looks like. The Forge is the only place that measures whether you took one.

Every lesson ends in a drill, every drill is scored, and the scored practice sessions grade your decision rather than your profit. One scenario deliberately pays you for breaking the rules and scores it 91 percent, while standing aside correctly scores 100. Free content cannot do that, because it never knew what your rules were.

What is TREPP?

Trend, RSI, EMA, Pullback, Probability. Five widely known components in a fixed sequence.

Nothing about it is secret, and the acronym is spelled out on purpose. RSI is a momentum gauge that shows whether buyers or sellers have been winning recently. EMA is a moving average that reacts faster to new prices than a simple one. A pullback is a temporary move against the trend before it continues.

What Steady Edge Trading standardized is the order those pieces are used in, and the training that makes you use them the same way every time.

Can you really learn to trade from a simulator?

Not entirely, and Steady Edge Trading does not claim otherwise. Live markets add pressure a simulator cannot reproduce.

What structured practice does well is build recognition and habit before money is involved. Repetition on curated scenarios means you meet the situations that end trading accounts, chop days, false signals, setups that never fill, before they cost you anything.

How long does it take?

That depends entirely on you, and any specific number would be a guess. Foundations takes a few focused hours. The full six stages and the practice ladder take considerably longer, because they are gated on demonstrated execution rather than on time served.

There are no artificial waiting periods anywhere in The Forge. Move as fast as you can actually perform.

Will I make money?

No promise is made, and any trading education that makes one should worry you.

What do I need to get started?

An account, and that is all for Foundations and your first scored rep.

For the charting work later in the program, a TradingView Essential plan is the minimum tier, because the system uses five indicators on one chart, three EMAs at 8, 21 and 200 plus RSI and MACD, and the free plan caps you at two indicators per chart. What happens if I cancel?

Cancel any time from your account. Access continues to the end of the billing period already paid for, and no further charge is taken. Your free Foundations access remains, and so does your free scored rep.
